Artist in Residence

We recently had an artist in residence come to help students plan an 'outdoor habitat.' When she came to the classroom I saw how she got everyone thinking of ways this habitat could come to life. We cannot wait for the spring when all of our ideas will come together outside!

Character pumpkins

The teachers have been hard at work this fall turning pumpkins into their favorite characters from books and movies. Come to Spooktacular to try to win one as we raffle off these wonderful creations.

Fire Safety

This week is fire prevention week and we were lucky enough to have a visit from the Hooksett Fire Department.  We learned how to get out of our house if we smell smoke, how to call 911 once we are out and safe and what to do if we get stuck. We also learned that it is important to test our smoke detectors and that we can have someone call the fire department if we don't have a smoke detector.

One if the fire fighters put his gear on so we could see how he is still the same person--not scary at all!

We got to ask lots of questions too!

But everyone likd going out to see the fire truck and ambulance the best!

Thank you Hooksett Fire Department!
